Today I was working on the other Dell PowerEdge R720XD we purchased last year and try to deploy windows 2012 on it. And through the deploy OS option I couldn`t find Windows 2012 on it. So I need upload BIOS.

And here is the easiest way to upgrade everything instead of go to Dell to download them.

1. Restart server and press F10 to enter Lifecycle Controller.

2. From Lifecycle Controller, selet Platform update.

3. Choose FTP to upgrade.

4. Configure your IP address or Proxy Server if you have one(I did).

5. By default, the FTP address is  Just apply and it will download all the available updates for you.

6. Apply. Now you can enjoy your coffee or tea(I am) now. Cheers.
